Hello, I was returning from a visit with relatives who live in northern New Jersey yesterday and saw a message sign at the intersection of Seven Lakes road and route 17 in Sloatsburg,NY. that stated Lake Welch is closed until further notice due to an outbreak of blue-green algae .
Also Arden Valley road is closed at it's intersection with route 17 as repairs to the bridge which carries the road over the NYS Thruway are still on going. Below are two phone numbers which should help you to get more information on both of these notices.
