Looks homemade.

I'm sure it was all adorable back in the day, and I too had similar stuff but I'm glad for technology and the fact that I have kept up with the changing times
let someone else grab it, one man's trash is another man's treasure
-
It's all going in my man cave I love vintage outdoor stuff

Some of my stuff

I want to sit in there and have a beer (or several) with you and discuss everything on display…😎

Greensider,
That makes at least 2 of us that have a popiels pocket fisherman. I always had mine in a compartment on my bucket truck when i was a lineman. Lots of natives in streams along the way
Nice collection
John

The pocket fisherman on the shelf was my grandfather's
-
I got mine back in 1971
-
very cool stuff my collection is similar but on a much smaller scale I have one self-imposed rule: I must have caught a fish with every item before it gets displayed. there have been some scary moments like when I got my $50 lure from an antique show hung on a rock 20' deep. Rulers I must have used to build something, Knifes have been used to gut something, and so on. I must ask, do you have a spot to put the ice sled ?
-
Yup I have plenty of room the room is 17 by 23 has about 10g in taxidermy mounts and furs not sure if I will be able to set up the shanty

Couple other angles

Nice quality fish mounts. I was expecting vintage disgusting ones.
-
Yes tip downs not the ones with the reels just long wooden stick with screws to wind line on and almost all my game and fish mounts were done by Bob seils some furs I tanned
-
Very nice indeed I'll bring the six pack any time the Raquettedacker and I can discuss the cool stuff. Somehow I don't think a sixer is going to be enough.
-
Just a cold Pepsi for me please and man cave is always open to visitors

Great!!
I was probably there. lol
Fished there almost every Saturday the winters of 79 thru 83/84 with my buddy Bobby T.
We would walk off the state boat launch on SE corner and head across and up slightly to Hogan's Cottages area.
Got some decent perch but really enjoyed the chain pickerel on the tipups.
Nice fishing there.
