Title: Better Today than Yesterday
Post by: bogtrotter on Jul 31, 2022, 03:49 PM
I got out on the South Hoosic this morning, and landed five nice rainbows (12" to 16").  Not bad for a half hours "work" (LOL).

By contrast, the 4+ hours that I spent fishing yesterday was nowhere near as productive.

I got skunked on the Main Branch of the Hoosic - - although I briefly had a fish on behind the Spruces in Williamstown, it got away and wouldn't come back to "play" after that, and I had no hits by the Ashton Avenue bridge or Central Radio basis in North Adams.

Likewise, I was only able to reel in two fairly small (11" and 13" rainbows) on the North Branch a little ways below the entrance of the Natural Marble Bridge State Park in North Adams, with absolutely no action further downstream.

Youre still the most consistent trout catcher I know Jim!
