Title: your favorite spoon for trolling salmon?
Post by: synergyboy10 on Mar 22, 2006, 06:51 PM: i was just wondering what is your favorite spoon for trolling for salmon. i like my NK mag black with a purple strip. and it seems that the fish do also.

Some of these are new for 2006 spoons from NK. The center 2 rows are doctored up by me. The second picture is my newest creation (I call it the Grasshopper)

Post by: Yankee Troller on Apr 18, 2006, 01:33 PM: Mulottos, glow froggy's, and thunder spoons work the best for me. Then there are the watermelon, penguins, and natural born killers. Monkey puke has its days along with the Habadero, which only seems to not work on my boat.

I'm with you pirkaus-a db smelt does some damage in the spring as well.

Post by: THREECAR on May 16, 2009, 04:34 PM: DB'S for me, I've got a box full of different color combos, usually one of them will get it done. But when things are slow, I grab old faithful, a brass and orange Flashking. That old spoon has saved the day for me more than once. 8)
