chain of lakes state park sat. nite
« on: May 07, 2006, 08:25 AM »
Went to the state park to do some nightime crappie fishing.  Had no crappie bites whatsoever. did catch a nice rainbow at sand lake in 30ft of water on a jig and minnow.  The park changed the launch fee system. Instead of paying a fee for each time you go.,you have to pay a yearly fee and put a sticker on your boat.  My boat was 20.00, and 5 for the truck.Another way to make an extra dollar I guess.   Will report If I go again    take care be safe                   JP

A friend of mine at work had the same thing hapen to him there, so he went somewhere else. I on the other had registered my boat and trailer for the first time today. What I thought was going to be around $115-$120 range ended up being $186 OUCH!!!!!! The nailed me for not registering it for two years. Here's
the kicker, the existing plates on the boat and trailer expired August of 2005!
How the get two years without being registered I don't know.
Later Greg
