Drop shot double rig,  Minnow or crayfish imitation fly on top and fat head (snelled true turn gold) on bottom spaced about 18"so hooks don't foul.

I usually use a spreader with 2 no. 6 or 4 aberdeen hooks, baited with shinners, lowered to about 2 ins. off bottom

I had the best day perch fishing I ever had today using nothing but a very small (1") white body, red "skirt" tube jig with a tiny tube head jig inside, worked incredibly well!
tight lines....
