Might help folks if you specify what you might be using it for, and what features you're looking for.  Stuff like bait clicker for cats, levelwind, flipping switch, magnetic system to pervent backlash....

If you are still looking?
I use all Shimano reels.. I have 2 bait caster. One is a Coriolis..it has 4 bearings and a easy cast dial to set with the bait that you are using....The other is a Crestfire...it has 3 bearings and the same dial..
They both have been real good reels...It will run you around $60 bucks for the 4 bb model, the other will run around $45.
 Good luck

Shimano and Abu Garcia products have both been productive for me, if I were you, I'd give them a look.

the Shimano Crestfire is a good value baitcaster for the money...it will hande most of the freshwater fish including big channel cats with ease....spooled mine with SWS 20# test...takes a beating and keeps on ticking....the only negative?....cheap gold plated plastic peels...but what the heck...its only superficial.....Grump

Bass Pro has Extreme combos for $120.  Extreme baitcaster with an XPS rod.  I've had 2 of them for a few years now and am happy with them.
I know enough, I just can't think of most of it.
