Biggest brook trout

ahh gotchya, diregard my other one. The snow in the background gives the allusion of being on the ice. Ive been thinking about trying some trout streams in the mddle of the winter

The Biggest Brook Trout I have is a 27"  8 pounder I had mounted back in 1988 (Broadback River) Canada
I also have a beautiful 20" 4 pounder mounted, that I got in one of my secret spots here in Maine
and last but no least ! I was out on a small pond in Northern Maine with a few buddys my first fish of the day was a 20" 4 1/2 pound brookie then a short 40 minutes later a nailed a 21" 5 1/2 pound Brookie ! 10 pounds of trout ouch these fish are also mounted by David Footer of Lewiston Maine ! I also let one go that day that weighed in at about 3 pounds (2 fish limit) the kicker is my budddy nailed a beautifu 6 pound brook trout that same day in the other boat ! all in all it was a great day and my best day of brookie fishing ever ! 
Still keeping that spot a secret ! LOL

Those Montana Brookies are gorgeous... they just look like they were made by Pixar.

Thanks!! That fish is actually quite a nice specimen for where it was caught. High mountain COLD creek, loaded with 6-12 inch cutties, bows and brookies. About every four or five years someone pulls something out like that.  He had a seven inch trout in his belly.

those things are pigs. I cut open a rainbow this past weekend and he had a ciggarette butt in his stomach

22" my guess was right about 5 lbs. I've gotten 1 that was most likely bigger, but no ruler or picture. i couldn't get my hand around her she was so fat!!! I've seen pics of some 20"s come out of the same lake and mine looked allot bigger. when i caught the 22" er 3 years ago we thought about paddling out to submitt it for a record, but decided to let her swim another day. we've also caught dozens in the 18-20 range, but some of these ponds were stocked with splake, so it hard to tell if they were natural brookies. 6 days till i get to chase them again!!!!

This one was 21" 3.25lbs ( A NH "Trophy" is 16" 2+lbs)

well here in NY they dont stock them, so all brookies are wild, i got my first one a few years ago in the owego creek, 16", a big one for the area, caught a 13" two days ago in a stream i could have jumped over, and got a 9" er yesterday in the otselic
