Seems like every year I catch something I've never seen before. A nice color fish id section would be cool. Most all of us know what walleyes and bass etc look like. But some of the odd balls like burbott, whitefish etc. are a little more rare and not everyone could identify these fish very easily. Also there is the tendency for different regions to call certain fish by more local names, a good example is Pickeral. In my part of the country, it could also be a walleye. A brief description with a photo/drawing would do it I think.
Bait is another good one, there is how many different types of shiners? And minnows?
Here in Michigan, our yearly fishing guide (comes w/ license purchase) also lists nuisance (exotic) species. I think that would be good info for all to have access to.
