Green & White!
« on: May 24, 2007, 02:35 AM »
It's been cold damp and miserable since Monday in this area. Yesterday the temp really started to drop and before I knew it, there was snow falling, sheesh. :P

In Sask. it can snow 12 months of the year. ::)

The falling snow then turned into a full fledge blizzard.

At times it was getting hard to see any distance.

It's kind of odd seeing the snow and the new green leaves just comming out.

We received 3 - 4 inches of the white stuff.
My poor chockcherry was bent over from all the wet snow on it.

It still hasn't straightened out. :(

I saw a few small trees broke and many branches all over.
We experienced a power outage for a few hours.
By the look of the trees, there was probably one resting on a line somewere.

If I do some fishing this weekend, it may be icefishing.

Did anyone else receive snow this week?

It's like living in the adirondacks, you have two seasons: winter and the 4th of July. ;D
