Vacation fishing on Assateague

Hey all, I am going to be vacationing in Assateague Island this August.  I was just hoping for some suggestions on where to fish (on or next to the Island) and what equipment would be needed.  Also, what type of fish are around that time of the year.  Thanks, Dan

 Surf fishing for blues ,sharks ,and rays in the ocean. If you have access to boat or take one of several party boats out of Ocean City in the bays for flounder.  If you have access to a boat the waters between Assateague Island and the airport in West Ocean City have been producing some nice flounder . The BAY BEE and the TORTOUG are 2 different party boats out of OC not sure if they have websites with prices
