Yes !  I have made arrangements to take a trip out into the bay for some

Capt. Snow at Snowfly Charters has been very helpful with the accommodations. We will leave Warwick Cove on Sat. June 6 @ 4:00am  :sleep1:

Here's a photo of the boat  23' SeaCraft

My father-in-law & of course My side kick Smallie Pauly will join us.
I'll keep ya'll posted.

First we've got some trout to catch !

I read the first few lines and started wondering if I missed a few months. There aint nothing there but desert and sleepy blackfish out there now! Good luck when you go out in June!

Caught 8 stripers - 1 Fluke
Lost      2 stripers maybe Keepers

Alot of fun   ;D

Started out quick @ 5:30 am.  My father-in-law Jack hooked into the first fish of the day.

Soon to be followed by Pauly D. (Fluke Master) jigging a swim bait   ???

I was throwing a giant top water bait (Big Dick) :o  That's when I got a Bionic Strike, water flying everywhere, followed by huge sound KER-PLUNK. I set the hook only to have her for a second. Enough time to feel the weight of a Hog ! Time to move, move , move...If there not biting move, move, move ..........

Capt. Gregg Snow   (Snowfly Charters.com)
Drifted us over a nice sand and rock flat 4'-8' just off a point near some deep water.

Now the fun really takes off to a new level :rotflol:
Ripping an pausing a shallow diving stick bait proved to be a winner.

Jack's first to hook into one, What wait a minute, Pauls on, double header.
No sooner do they release there fish when off the bow of the boat I feel the fury of a 25" striper missile shootin towards the sky. This one is landed
and then released, 3" shy of the size limit.  :nono:

I really was looking foward to grillin up some bass, but after recounting the day's adventures, I realized that grillin or no grillin this was an expierience I would not soon forget.

Special Thank's to:  Capt. Gregg Snow (Snowfly Charters.com)
for his donation of the trip.

Stripped bass are slammin in the river! don't even need a pogie just drift and theyll slam into your boat. This three weeks in the biggest one was 22lbs, not bad but the big ones are down there too! Not a lot of bluefish action, just every once and awhile you get bit off. Everything is starting, Commercial fluke went down to 50lbs but theres a big run! Good luck fellas
