« on: Jul 15, 2009, 09:15 PM »
quaker peach oatmeal, cheerios, corn and strawberry jam cooked up on the stove and then molded into balls. It allowed me to catch my first carp ever but it wont be my last. I snapped three others off also

Wow, I just use a crawler on a 1/8 ounce jig, and it works just fine.
So many gar...so few in my boat!

I'm simple as well.  My baits are 1/2 a crawler, 3 to 4 corn kernals, white bread clumped into a ball, and sometimes Kelloggs Corn Puffs like two of them maybe three if they're small like corn.
Slip bobber fishing and ice lounger.
