Thanks KP...  It's been on my mind all day...  It always is on the 9th of August...

I was at a Fly Shop outside of Jackson, WY the day I heard of Jerry's passing.  We had heard Dead tunes on the radio all morning as we left our campsite (we had driven up from Colorado the night prior).

I was thinking to myself "This town rules, they rock the Grateful Dead alll the d**n time!"

When we walked into West Branch Anglers and heard "Foolish Heart" on the radio behind the counter, I expressed my approval to the kid at the register.  His eyes got heavy, his voice low, and said...

"You guy's haven't heard?  Jerry is gone."  I don't think I will ever forget that.

Miss ya, Jer...   Thanks, man...  Thanks for all of it!

Im not a huge Dead fan but I can sure appreciate what they and Jerry did...

Warren Haynes wrote this some after he passed and it is sick! Writing songs takes a ton of tallent as far as im concerned...
