Actually got to share a couple beers with him in a Cortland bar one night, he just
"dropped" in one night while he was back home. I was out with a friend that night
and the two of them had raised cane back in the day, so we BS'd with RJD for a while that night.
He seemed like a common man to me, at least while he was off stage anyhow!
In hind sight that was quite a privilege I'd say.
