Looking for somebody to take me fishing
« on: Mar 21, 2011, 10:15 AM »
I'm going to be vacationing in FL in a couple weeks and was wondering if somebody would take me out, i'll pay for gas bait and lunch.  We're staying in kissimmee and my wife said I could have one day to myself.  Any suggestions would be appreciated.

try calling CAMP MACK. they might know a guide that fishes there?  saw, what seemed to be guides, there last month. they also state on their website that they rent boats. a guide could get you on fish fast if you only have a day.  hope it helps, good luck.
P.S. if that doesn't pan out try surf or pier fishing, and there are alot of ponds too!

Try googling LAKE TOHO there was a discussion forum I found around Christmas time with guys talking about that lake and area.  I lost the link though.  Lake Toho is about a 10 minute drive from Disney

I went to Florida last year for vacation. End up with nothing to do  half a day so I went to the coast. Found a fishing pier and rented a couple rods. Caught fish for 4 hours straight. The locals help a bunch had a great time spent $20.00. Money well spent!

I'm down in Florida right now. Cocoa Beach area. Been fishing the river. NO boat just dtriving and finding spots that look accessible. Been catching a few Sea Trout here and there. Mostly just Sailors Choice and Catfish. Stopped and local bait shop bought a cheap rod and reel copmbo and a bait bucket.   L:ive shrimp and a natural colored cork boober (  smallest you can find) A good guide is about 275 half day  400 whole day. But they can put you on some nice big Redfish...This time of year. Hope that helps some.  Ed
