Bass rod suggestions...
« on: May 07, 2012, 07:23 PM »
I have a question for you bass guys....

What is your favorite rod for fishing Texas rigging soft plastics and such? I am getting frustrated because I can't find a rod that works real well for me. It seems like everything is too stiff, soft, fast, slow or short! I guess I just don't know what makes an ideal worming rod. ???

I think I would like to stick with a casting reel, most likely a low profile with a thumb bar. Left handed crank of course... lol

I am not afraid to drop a couple hundred on a good rod, but I am sick of not finding the perfect one! HELP! ;D

No answers!!?? i bought a St. Croix Mojo Bass, 7' med/heavy and I like it a lot. Light, responsive... not super expensive. I throw plastics all day with a baitcasting reel.

That's what I ended up with! It's a great rod and you can't beat it for the price!!

I think there are more of those mojo bass rods in my future... 8)
