its a hard choice between three lures for me

4" smoke senko

7" black berkley powerworm

1/2oz black/blue flash rattleback jig with zoom fat albert trailer.

i guess i would pick the worm, for the reasons fat boy highlighted.

A box full of plastics, you WILL catch fish
If the rule is 5 fish or 5 pounds, what if the 5th fish weighs 5 pounds?

there is only one pond near me with bass in it. Therefore there is a lot of pressure so the fish are really picky. To catch them, I use something nobody else does, kastmaster spoon with just the tail part of a curlytail grub. The fish never see it so get interested and strike.

Plain old twister, white or brown.  Will catch just about anything.

Sure love cranks, but spinnerbaits seems to be a better go to.

I am with this guy. I have caught so many different species, no to mention some of the biggest of each species with an old fashion twister tail. Got to love em.
