Went for a drive in the truck tonight and tossed a couple casts with no luck. Thought I seen a big fish splash right in front of me...turned out to be a muskrat haha
I was fishing on the south end at the speed curve there is one spot where the shore line isn't full of cat tails and trees...one thing I noticed and was very impressed with is that I never got any weeds on my hook and didn't feel any snags or anything. Perhaps a nice sandy bottom?
There looked to be a few folks camping in the campgrounds there and I noticed they have some buoys in the water and a nice beach there, could be a neat place to camp for the weekend!
