Oyama

What's the story with Oyama reservoir?  I assume that since there is no updated info anywhere that it's winter killed or something...has anyone fished it recently (as in this year or last year) and what was it like?  How cool would that be if the place was full of fish again... ;D

Went for a drive in the truck tonight and tossed a couple casts with no luck.  Thought I seen a big fish splash right in front of me...turned out to be a muskrat haha

I was fishing on the south end at the speed curve there is one spot where the shore line isn't full of cat tails and trees...one thing I noticed and was very impressed with is that I never got any weeds on my hook and didn't feel any snags or anything.  Perhaps a nice sandy bottom?

There looked to be a few folks camping in the campgrounds there and I noticed they have some buoys in the water and a nice beach there, could be a neat place to camp for the weekend!
