Headed over to Dellwood this afternoon to give my new baitcasting outfit a try. Tried 4 different spots shore fishing and hammered the pike everywhere.
They were hungry for len thompson spoons in any colour., and jigs with white black or brown tails. I caught at least 20 fish from 1:00PM to 5:00PM
Never kept any. The ticks were out today as well, after picking the fourth one off my legsI tucked the pantlegs into my socks. Good start to the softwater season. Might take the boat out next weekend.
