AUSABLE TROUT

here are some trout from the west branch of the ausable from the flume to the wilminton dam
we stoped and talked to fran this is around 1957?? i think
shows fish wife to be and mother in law to be
the little one's to the left are mine

THE BIG ONE'S my father in law to be. got
i think all i know about trout fishing i got from
him .lynn was born in 1904.and was one hell of
a fisherman i NEVER was able to top him,

I miss fishing the Ausable.  Was always cool to stop in to see Fran.

he know his fish[he passed about 2009 or 2010]
his dad was one great fisher also

I've been in the ausable forks on vacation for a week now and it is an absolutely gorgeous part of the state. The 7 hour drive from the buffalo area was well worth it! We did a ton of cool things including getting to experience the summit of whiteface mountain and the Olympic grounds in lake placid!

i was  thinking of  river rat this  morning  and   went threw  some of  his old post ,to bad the  pictures  he  posted  are  gone ...are there any way  the  pictures  can  be  put back up?  the  fran he  is  mentioning was the  famous  guide and  fly tyer fran betters
