A friend and I fished rubber worms from his boat on Ashmere Lake in Hinsdale for a couple hours last evening.
I didn't catch anything (although I had a few strikes that I failed to react to quickly enough), but my buddy caught a decent pickerel and a 2+ pound bass.
We also retrieved a fishing rod that another friend of ours had lost in shallow water during a fishing derby the week before.
