Partly sunny, 50 degrees.
As a warm up to the main event, I spent a frustrating hour and a half on Hudson Brook at the Natural Marble Bridge State Park in North Adams trying to catch some brookies. Although I had plenty of hits, I had one heckuva time o getting the little buggers to really commit - - and ended up having to content myself with just four (all in the 5" to 7" range).
Moved to the North Branch of the Hoosic, and a bit downstream, to the Eclipse Mill, where in relatively short order I lost one rainbow (about 12" to 14") and landed another (a 16" that fought like the Tasmanian Devil in a Bugs Bunny cartoon) just below the dam.
