An update
We have the side room there but water has been coming in.  First from the seam at the roof which they easily fixed by reflashing things right to the house.  Lot of work but the right way to do it.
The other leak is coming in from under the trailer.
The skirting around the front and opposite side was allowing serious amounts of rain to be blown in under the skirting track.  These two sides face the lake and the prevailing winds.  We had little rivers running thru the side room.
So they came out and tore out the skirting and sealed under the tracking and reinstalled it.  Again, major work but the proper way to fix it.
Additionally, I had them add gutters to that opposite side.  The rain was coming off the roof and combining with the rain hitting that side of the house.  It was 2X or more water hitting the concrete at the base of the trailer where the skirting was providing tons more available water.  So I’m thinking the 2 gutters will help.
Lastly, yesterday I went under the trailer and caulked the entire wall under the trailer in that room.  The base is a pressure treated 2x4 but it was never sealed.  So any water coming in from the other side, running under the trailer, easily ran under that 2x4.  I bought 10 large tubes of silicone sealer.  The most expensive stuff and it was the only stuff I saw rated for caulking concrete.  I was under there for 2 hrs and today my bones are letting me know it.  I only used 6 tubes but will save the other 4 for anything in the future.
Now I wait for rain.
But I need a serious lengthy downpour and with winds hitting the lake side of the place.  A nor’easter won’t tell me $hit.
If it still leaks, which I cannot see how it would, my next step will be sandbags against the back side of that wall separating the side room from under the trailer.  Home Depot sells these 10’ long bags filled with some sort of high absorption grain that are relatively light and flat making them easy to lay under there.  But when water hits them they absorb it and swell making a serious flood barrier.
We’ll see.

Got the lawn mowed out here one last time and the rest of the skirting put back.  Time for a cold beer.  This weather will be short lived I’m afraid.  Winter in the north blows dead puppy dogs.  Soon!

Heading out to check on things and get the dimensions of my driveway area.

I need to hire a contractor in the spring to excavate what is there, lay down that black weed barier sheeting and then a layer of crush and run.

Anyone know of any decent contractors out there near my place in Angola, NY that I could call?

We got the driveway put in back in March and it has had time to "set up".
Crusher Run is not as good as concrete as I originally wanted but doesn't require the drainage they wanted me to install.
Besides, it was only like $500-600 compared to like $9,000

The camp opened officially yesterday.
But I still have work here to do on the boat so I decided to stay home and finish it up.
Besides, tomorrow it is supposed to be crappy weather again again.
We'll see.
Might head out there later today depending on how soon we can finish the boat.
