Raquette.....are those knockout roses as easy to keep alive as promised  ???  My son gave me one for Mother's Day and I'm hoping to have it last more than one year  :D  Never had much luck with roses  :-[  any suggestions  ???

That's a shame all those tomato plants getting trashed  :'(

Wally I'm not a big rose person but I have planted a few at my moms house and they do well... I think she just prunes them every year...

Made a little railing planter box for a girl at work who's struggling with leukemia.

I'm planting some Passion flowers and Morning glories for her. Hopefully it will give her something  to smile about when she looks out at it in the morning.

If you lend someone $20 and never see that person again, it was probably worth it.

You'd have been proud of me today Dom. Spent the afternoon watering in the garden department. I kind of liked it to tell the truth. Stuff was seriously dry.

Garden update....
Tomatoes are popping along

Mama's gardens are looking pretty spectacular

The Petunia tower is filling out nicely

Moon flower and morning glory towers are starting to look lively. Long ways to go though.

Spinach, beans and cukes are doing very well.

More beans, peppers,  Cukes, snow peas and squash.

I'm running out of stuff to plant ;D

Well, that's a wrap. All planted and starting to take off. Scaled way back this year and gave everything more space to see if less is really more. I have Hungarian wax peppers, orange and purple bell, red hot cherry, a beefsteak, early girl, 1000's sweet and yellow plumb tomatoes, 4 market more, 4 bush and 12 bush picking cukes. 4 zucchini and 4 Brussel sprouts. Decided to try a little pallet planter for my strawberry plants, they seem to like it so far. Peas and beans on the far side are 50 percent sprouted, still have to go get some chicken wire for them to climb. Man, I'm so happy to spend time in the yard in this beautiful weather! Happy Fathers day to all the great Dads on here ;D
