Talked coach into going last night , lines got a little stiff as it dropped to 28* , fishing was slow but we did end up keeping 3 and tossing 1 back , and yes this ol boy had his hot hands activated 😉

Well I’m headed for a skunk off bath , I tried 4 spot and the conditions were good far as wind and water , but no bait at all along the shore which can be bad sign , at least it was warmer than the night before , and they can close the gates anytime , couple spots are almost finished ,
I can’t complain I’ve released some nice fish and the freezer is pretty healthy , but I’m not giving up 🎣

LMFAO - Coach, can I get one of those baths? Last 3 times out were a ZONK! Think I'm putting the boat away - we'll have ice in a week or two, if the weather reports hold good.

Good stuff. I haven’t caught a falleye this year either but did get the boat out yesterday to run some Stabil thru the motors.
Water temp around 45. Found some nice perch in 35fow and some eater eyes in 30fow, although not the same area. Dad battled with a few heavy drum too.
If that’s the last boat trip of the year it was a good one. I wouldn’t mind another trip but if we get early ice instead I wouldn’t complain.
