reg by coast guard parking lot area

KIDS FREE under 16
50/50 pay out   
This money helps fund our FREE TAKE A KID FISHING EVENT JUNE 2ND at Rodgers lakewood park in Valparaiso

Coho are running!   We hope to see you and your kids fishing next Saturday!!!

Haven't heard anything, did the big lake give up any fish during the tourney?

It was a shore fishing contest, not sure how the bite was from shore and haven't heard any results either.  Family was in from out of town so I took them out in the boat and that bite was on even with the not so favorable water and weather conditions.  I know there were not as many boats out as I had expected I am sure the weather kept a lot of people home which may have affected the tourney also.

Nice then it turned Rain and cold for this derby   Randy Hall  won 1st place with 3 nice size coho
 the youth div was won by Will Marshal    with 2 nice coho
fishing were biting early then the wind shifted .   no monsters were caught at the derby.   

crazy....the bite the day before and after were limits of coho all over.  o well it was nice to fish with my friends
