Well, last time on Sacandaga this past weekend for me. 4 times on the water and 3 rock bass to show for. Marked schools which I believe were walleye in many areas. Since I only drift fish my bait was 4' below their schooled level. Just wouldn't commit. Last drift through I decided to keep going when generally I go back to the start of the drift. 5 Schools I passed at various levels BUT no strikes. Decided to call it a year. Usually don't fish this late in the season. Tight lines to all. See you on IS!!!!!!!!!!!

Kim, it has been one of those years. The last time I was out I did see fish in small groups along the breaks, just couldn't get them to hit. I haven't ice fished in a couple years but I do check in on IS. See you over there.....h2l

H2l nice to see you this morning, glad your eye is doing well. Fished the lake today, caught 7 walleyes and missed one at the boat, also caught 3 bass and missed three fish. Might try it again next week if launch permits. Only two walleyes were keepers.

H2l it was a cold start, it got quite choppy with the breeze,there were other boats out but not from northville launch. We thought about jumping in the water to warm up,water is still warm at 70* . The launch is getting very hard to use, especially for us old timers.

Thanks guys. I didn't have a bad year. Boated 12 and only 2 shorts. Averaged 16.5". 3 dinners and others in the freezer. Can't really complain because it took me a looooong time to figure where they were at. Now trying to figure hooking up more often. Soon headed to IS......

Well guys it's been a good year, thanks to H2l and all his help finding fish, might try one more trip. Hope everyone has a good year ice fishing.see you on IS.

Thanks, h2l. Yes, only weekends right now but going down to part time next year with job. SOO, with 4 days off fishing or catching hopefully will be better. May even put my trolling motor in boat to try trolling or down rigging.
