H2l it seems to me you don't do as well without Lindsay in the boat, could it be you need your good luck charm lol. You have taught her well.

Lindsay has been working most of the Summer. She is a pretty good fisher gal. I do miss her in the boat....h2l

Got out for a couple hours on Sunday AM, fished noon- 1:30 or so.   Trolling worm harness my Mom caught a nice 16" walleye and my wife caught a 14" perch, but that was it.

The good news is that I am finally figuring out how to catch some fish in this lake!   Appreciate all the help and tips from all you guys, especially Doug - you've been very helpful!

Learning how to read the different features of the Lowrance HDS has taken some time.  The side scan is great to see where the structure is, but I am still struggling to figure how to read that to identify fish.  I took a screen shot I'll share when I get back from a business trip (sitting in airport now )

Good luck this week to anyone going out !

Good for you jaconwall, glad to see you catching fish. You can never go wrong with info from Doug, he knows the lake well and is willing to share info. Hop the launch is accessible for a while, they are letting water out very fast.

JW try putting your cursor on the object and zoom to start,  after a while you will pick it up without zooming , great tool

at my new marina I'm able to keep the boat in until Oct 15th which is great for Pike fishing but not sure how much water will be left by then at this rate... water seems a lot lower then it was at this time last year.

Fished this morning from 6:30 till 11:00 then it started to get rough. Caught one short walleye right away and lost two more on the way up,my cousin lost one and he caught a small mouth bass. Not a very good day.

I think I saw you going down the road when we came back from Albany. I know it was pretty windy. My cousin just called me from the lake, they had 1 short walleye. Hoping Friday is better...h2l

My cousin called last night, he ended up with 4, two were keepers. Drifting bottom bouncers. He said it was windy enough to drift 2+ mph.
Good Luck this weekend, BBB. I will get you a report this PM....h2l

I am beginning to think I have lost my touch. 1 bass and 1 short walleye. I had some hits but they were more like taps...h2l
