Tripp Pond advice

Will be staying at a cabin on Tripp Pond for about a week... was wondering how it fishes this time of year? Species? Tactics? I will have access to a kayak... I read through a bunch of posts on here about Tripp, but they are all several years old... Thanks in advance.
