 Caught this guy on the buffalo bayou in Houston,TX there was a bunch of them in a feeding frenzy it was sweet he d**n near broke my rod these suckers have some muscle on them for sure.

1 of the best fighting fish right there. Try getting them through the ice sometime its a blast. Coarse you'll have to travel for that.
I fish every chance I get and enjoy every time I fish. They call it fishing not catchin

that's for sure it gave me a good fight it was only about 6 pounds but it used all 6 of them thats for sure.  never hooked a bow fin before hope to get another asap

They fight great. Only ever got 1 and it was 10 pounds

o yeah they have some spikey teeth i really want to catch another one that is one good fight.

I know a couple spots up here on Black Lake where I could just about guarantee a bowfin through the ice.  8)

One of my absolute favorite fish to catch. Was 3 ounces off the state record in ny
