New to the fresh water stuff.....
« on: Feb 07, 2014, 07:07 AM »
Thought Id drop in and get acquainted.
My name is Brendan and although Ive been predominantly an offshore guy, I recently picked up a super deal on a Lund ProV 1660. Its a mid 90's model and is in very good condition with only cosmetic issues and some upgrades to attend to (carpet, some wood replacement, installing rod holders and downriggers).
Its clear this is the place to be to learn about the hows and whys for Maine fishing. Ill be posting questions now and again and appreciate all the help (wont ask for numbers though...lol)

Ill be upgrading my FF and am looking at a Humminbird 859ci HD to replace an older Lowrance.
I have two Canon digitroll II's. One works great and the other I will be converting to a Mag 10.

More to follow and thanks in advance......

Welcome!

What sort of fish you trying to get your hands on? Sounds like a pretty sweet boat setup!
