sorry hood i have to disagree with you . i feel a professional athlete should always be the bigger man. as we all saw security was there within seconds so if sheff woulda just stepped back and pointed at the guy he would have been escorted off anyway.just my opinion  :-\

What do  you think should have been done to Gary, Scott? He shouldn't have pushed him, but whats the big deal really? He pushed the guy, but that was it, he definitely should haven't have done anything at all ideally, but he restrained himself from doing so much more... :-\  What discipline should be administered to Gary in your mind?

Shef got off easy. He should have been suspended for ay least 3 games. He showed physical agression towards a civilian. He deserves everything he gets anyways for running off his over paid mouth last season in the ALCS when they were up 3-0. He called the Sox unprofessional. Well guess what? THE YANKS HAD THE BIGGEST CHOKE IN PROFESSIONAL SPORTS HISTORY.
GO RED SOX!!!!!!!!!!

The season is young, we'll see who is in last/first place after 160 games.  Biggest choke in history? Come on now, we have seen the SOX choke time after time whether its a stupid error or by someone going yard in the last inning to send them home for the winter. Its no coincidence the yanks are the WINNINGEST FRANCHISE IN SPORTS HISTORY, thats no choke. Besides who here is young enough to maybe see the sox win in another 84 years, lemme know how it goes we meet me in the afterlife.

Dent, Buckner, Boone, RUTH...ring a bell?

I don't think any predictions can be made by records at this point in the season. Stars will shine, and flops will flop.

Overpaid mouth? Aren't they all?

I think Schilling is th guy who should have shut up...what's his ERA? 7 something?

Now, if Ortiz would just die... :P

I love this rivalry!

Even if it wasn't the sox, it was still the greatest comeback in sports history.  Quite possibly the worst choke ever. I mean it wasn't like one person let a ground ball through there legs, the whole team choked.

steinbrenners babys should win every game. trump should own all of ny. i would tell the yankees ill pay you whine asses the big bucks but if you aint producing, you aint getting paid point blank!!!!! put up fences and keep the a hole fans from coming on the field or being able to touch the players. the yankees were a good team when they had players like munson, mattingly, berra etc. they came to play every game. these relievers now days pitch 1 inning and they need 2 or 3 days rest, give me a break.

Yeah bigdave, a-rod, sheff, and jeter suck along with the rest of the team, awful they are, randy johnson never should have made it pro and mariano should just sit at home and listen to enter sandman, and last i checked mattingly was the hitting coach....but since he doesnt play he prolly is of no help to the team. Come on man, get off whatever bandwagon your on and have a clue. :cookoo:
