They're calling for 40mph sustained with gusts to 70.

Hang on to your hats!

If you lend someone $20 and never see that person again, it was probably worth it.

Test ran the generator yesterday. Hopefully we won't need it. Good luck everyone.

About 3am the wind was cranking with tree branches singing. Cancelled some outside work for my guys basically looks through the week it looks. Grid sent notice they were staging trucks and crews ready for outages. Hold on tight

Did you hear there will be a 4 foot tide from the west coast to the east coast of lake Erie because of the wind??

Marine forecast is calling for 11 foot waves on Lake Erie. You should be able to pick emerald shiners off the shoulder of Rt. 5 just like picking night crawlers.

A prodigious achievement.
It's stupendous.
It's colossal.
It's putrid.

No big deal but I think the term is seiche? I think tide refers to solar gravity and lunar effects which are there, but very minor on the Great Lakes.

Well, that front was a big fat lot of nothing. Had an hour or so of 25-30 mph winds and now it's settled down to 10-15.

Weathermen trying to get onthw news again I guess.

Wasn't as bad as predicted back our way either (Indiana). However the UP got a snowstorm out of it.
