New saltwater regs
« on: Mar 26, 2015, 01:04 PM »
I know a lot of us fish the salt. How 'bout those great new rules on stripers and black sea bass? I really appreciate the charter boats having a higher per-angler limit on BSB. I buy a six-figure boat, insure it, fuel it, marina$ +++ and get to keep 3 during the summer, a guy pays a $100 or less on a headboat and gets 8. Thank you DEEP. >:(

Forgot to mention I'm ok with the striper regs in general, although I have always felt that stripers are one of the main predation problems facing the alewives/herring and winter flounder. If my premise is correct more stripers is not necessarily a good thing when looked at from that perspective.
