willimantic river
« on: Apr 07, 2015, 07:11 AM »
been to the tma a couple of times since it opened up. managed a couple of stocked bows by the rte 74 bridge. let me tell you that water is cold. there is a deep  monitor on the river down by merrow road in mansfield. i heard sunday it was 36 degrees. I drove over the river this a.m. it is running very heavy and going to be tough on opening day if it doesn't settle down. at least it washed out the beaver dams that were across the river.
