abouch and i went to birge pond after thawing out from our cold trip to saltonstall on friday. there was a guy about a hundred yards from us wearing waders. he was only about a foot deep in the lake. we caught one rainbow. he caught many trout. we joked about it. i went back the next day. he was there again. same bobber, same bait, same distance casting. he slayed the trout. now i know that waders is the key. (not) cant explain it though. maybe my hands stink? all i wanted was fertilizer for my garden.
