Had a great day at west hill. Been fishing there only two years and what a great place. Caught every species there.....Pics crappie perch and some really nice bass never a trout and we tried hard for them. Started slow in the morning but at 11:00 got first bass about 2.5 pds with my little gold spinner that i love for trout then the trout started. Caught over a dozen in a half hour with my buddies in the boat. Met some real nice guys out there and asked everyone if they were dobbler but none. Wanted to thank him for the great updates. I used a simple 5 gold bead and small gold blade spinner from Walmart ($1.88) and was happy to bring home some nice 15-16 browns and brookies for the grill.
