Gardner Lake access points
« on: Apr 11, 2016, 07:21 AM »
We hit Gardner yesterday afternoon in my buddy's jon boat and I'd like to fish it again this coming weekend from my yak. I'd prefer not to have to paddle all the way from the launch to the North end (about 1.5 miles each way) if I don't have to, but I will. To that end, I'm curious if there are any other areas where I might be able to legally put the yak in closer to the North end. Any thoughts? Thanks.

You can prob. Put in at the dam. Aside from that and the state park ( long walk) carrying yak everything else is private I think. Good luck

Bug,

Cool. I'll give it a try. There was good bass action in the North end yesterday on spinnerbaits and tubes. It was windy and cold but I liked what I saw. Thanks.
