Tackle bags
« on: Nov 07, 2012, 04:36 PM »
Hey guys I'm in the market for a new tackle box.  I've only ever had solid boxes but I think I'm going to go for a bag.  I'm leaning towards the bass pro 370 series bag which has got some good reviews.  Just looking for input from you guys about the 370(0) size bags that you've used and what you guys would recommend.  Thanks in advance.

Just get one that holds several Plano Boxes and loads from the top side by side....

I have four bags similar to these:

Except mine carry four 3700 boxes and have Velcro flaps for a top.  They're durable, cheap, and it's easy to load them for different kinds of fishing.  I have all my tackle separated into individual 3700 boxes.  I grab the ones I'll need for the day, throw them into a couple of these boxes and head out the door.

this is the bag i have i got it on clearance at dicks 2 years ago for 25$ best bag i have had yet i have had 3 other bags all of which i had issues with including a Plano that the bottom ripped out of while loading in to the boat from the dock dropping 2 boxes in the water all tho this bag was 4 years old and overall was a good bag, and a bass pro bag that after less than a season all zippers broke and one pocket had a tear, and 1 other off brand that just wasn't big enough  the spider bag has performed well for me holds 7 boxes standing up or 5 horizontal has trap door side pockets I use for plastics and the plies holder is nice and convent has a good strap and handles slide up and down and are heavy duty and are holding up nicely and have lots of padding

I've been running the large Bass Pro Boat bags for a long time now.   They are waterproof and can fit just about everything you would need.   I routinely put 6 370's, 3 360's and some spinnerbait and hook boxes plus two binders of plastics, and it all fits.

Its a simple design, its rugged, and waterproof.

I use just a nice book at with Plano boxes in it. Has lots of storage for boxes pliers spools and other tools. I don't have a boat so when I fish I'm constantly moving so it is nice to stay hands free and still have my tackle w me

I use the BPS Stalker series bag, it fits both 3600 and 3700 series boxes and if you do much shot fishing it can also be worn as a back pack.. durable with tons of compartments (it has a rain cover you can slide over in case of down pour)

well I got my bag today in the mail and its just what I was looking for,it will hold 4-300 series boxes on the bottom and 6 on top it has plenty of pockets some that are not shown in the catalog, the only thing I wish it had was the rod straps on both sides for your rods as it only has them on one side but all in all I like it and the price was right
