trout fishing

does anyone go to potato creek in north liberty fishing for trout? i fish it all the time even during the dead of summer but only get trout in the spring and their only about 10'' long. are there bigger ones in there? the rest of the year i just catch little rock bass and bluegill and the ocasional crappie.. also about 20# carp!
cold morning air+ smell of exaust and the roar of the motor starting=HEAVEN

I have never caught a trough from there, but they used to release them out on red bud rd.........MM

i have fished there but never caught any trout just dink bluegills
over by sycamore and osbourn, me and my buddies damed it up so it is deeper, there is a deep hole there anyway so its about 6 feet deep there now and thats where i always catch the ocasional small trout
