My favorite so far are woolly buggers and I like to mix them up. I have some larger ones that are chartruese with a grizzly hackle; I tied some olive buggers and some orange buggers last night. Brown and black are other good colors. I've found when fish see a lot of one color, just switching the color will envoke more strikes. I spent most of Memorial Day switching back and forth between chartruese and olive and would hook up with a fish soon after changing. I cast the olive at one fish several times before switching to black and he finally nailed it.
