I love fishing in the rivers for trout in the spring. I use crawlers in the early spring when the water is high and do very well. I actually got three on sunday, 17", 19", and 20" all browns and all very healthy when I let them go. Later on in the year I fish for them with spinners and Thomas Buoyants (gold). When the kids wanna go we go to the local pond and use meal worms and marshmallows off the bottom about 2 feet. The stocked trout love them. And it's fun for the kids to catch 20-30 trout in a few hours.
