Better to find it then fix it than not.
Good luck partner!

Ditto! And surgeons have become really adept at any kind of heart surgery these days!

Hey Everyone,
With  many prayers, the talent of wonderful medical staff and  the grace of God, I am typing this from home.

Upon finding blockage with angiogram on the 26th of July, decicion was made to do bypasss surgey. My heart decided to do some A fib , blood pressure dropped to 50, nurses all over me and got things back to normal.
Stepdaughter came up from Indy where she is Nurse Practioner with cardio group, , spoke with my surgeon and decision was made to hold off surgery for a week until system was clear of Plavix to reduce risk of bleeding out during surgery!
Twas a long week!!!  Had to stay in Hospital in Hobart. Great staff!!!!
Operated on Monday the second. Did 3 by-passes. Had slight problem with A-Fib twice but went back to normal by itself.Going to take my first shower in two weeks as soon as I'm done here!!!!!!!
Thanks again for your many prayers and well wishes. Plans for our Annual Bass Attack in Crystal Falls, MI Sept first is cancelled but looking forward to next year.
Now have to slowly put away all food and gear that I left in spare bedroom for Fall Bass Attack.
I'm a lucky old boy, again. Neighbors doing it all! Mowing grass, taking care of flowers, driving to Dr appt etc! Step daughter staying with me for a while, etc.
God Is Good!!!!

Good to hear things are going well for you.  That first shower is the best part of the surgery. Sponge baths just don't cut it.

Ha, that could depend on how cute the nurse is who is giving the sponge bath. LOL
