Here is a picture of my 24lb. 11oz. 39 1/2" lake trout that I caught last season in Lake Ontario off of Rochester New York.

A peanut and cowbell rig dragged along the bottom in 155 FOW.

Here is the Rochester Basin of Lake Ontario it is common to catch lakers on the bottom out to 200 FOW. You have to bring them up slowly or their air bladders explode. You can burp them but they do not always make it. I use lighter rods for this reason. It allows them to come up on their terms not the guy on the rods terms.

I guess it takes a while to bring one of those monsters up.
