Our stream trout don't get very big out here, especially the brookies. Around here, stocked or not, any stream brookie over 10" is pretty d**n big anyway.  The majority of trout that the state stocks in streams are 8"-10".

weird !! stocking 8-10" fish?? here in sask all trout are about 2" when stocked. it takes about two years before they are even worth catching.

Went out for some Walleye fishing today and the smallies were biting.  I managed to get one walleye though.  It was a nice healthy 16 1/2" and will be seeing the frying pan tomarrow night.

The brown trout you seen in my pics a couple nights ago I had for lunch today.  Seasoned them with Lemon Pepper and butter in aluminum foil on the grill.........YUMMMMMMY

You are in trouble now.  She is going to want to go fishing with you all the time now.  You will have no personal free time anymore.  My gf doesn't fish, actually hates to fish, which is the way I like it, so I can go out and have peace.

Just take her out on an 8 hour fishing excersion. That'll make her only want to fish once and a while. But serioulsy its great she was willing to learn. Some of my best moments have been fishing with my wife! ;)

Headed out with my nephew last night for a little kitty fishing.  I did not catch any on my poles but I caught the first one on my nephews pole.  He was baiting pole two and I looked over and the reel was in the water and still going.  So I ended up landing the biggest of the night.  Didn't weigh him but we bothed guessed around 6lbs.  He was a nice blue that fought hard.

hey, nice eye, I've been at the still way a few times, but it has been a while.  ;) I don't get up that way any more. I used to fish with a buddy up in glens falls and he took me there a few time, but never had any luck when I went, I guess it was just the wrong time of year.
WTG, keep the pictures coming.  ;D

Hit the waters again tonight in hopes of hitting some walleyes using a different tactic.  I got one walleye, 3 smallies, a catfish and lost a largemouth and had one other big run but never seen the fish and came off.

Well I have been in Maine for a week on my Honeymoon and did some ocean fishing with not much luck.  We rented a boat on Thompson Lake for a day and managed 4 or 5 nice smallies each.  Here are a couple pics.

Headed down to the local (C & R) section of the hudson tonight with my wife after diner to see if I could catch some smallies.  I caught a few small ones and had a nice one approx. 3lbs up to the boat and broke me off.  Then around 7 I nailed these two nice walleyes.  Had a third one follow my rapalla to the boat but turned away.  The pickture of the pike is from thursday night on the same section of river.

Got out with my nephew tonight on a local lake and the sunnies, bluegills and perch were just about jumping in the boat....BIG SUNNIES AND BIG BLUEGILLS   Perch were about 10-11" and got one nice crappie.  This was taken after dark at my brother's house.  Doesn't due much justice to the size of them.

where's the beef (fish)?  ::) Yes, it was a nice morning, snd no problem with the eyes. I'm always in the sharing mood when it comes to share a prize catch. I just didn't have the time today to take care of cleaning. I'm glad that you guys don't mind cleaning fish.  ;)  ;D
Nice meeting ya, and too many more outtings.  8)

Made it out on Saratoga today with BigRed and Camo.  Had a great day learning from these two guys about Toga and presentation for the eyes.  Thanks for showing me some good spots guys.  Also thanks for sending me home with a few eyes and some gills for the freezer.  We will have to get out again.  Here is a picture of my take home package.  The eyes are Camofish's eyes.
