Got out for a bit after work today and caught these beauties.   I lost 5 slabs trying to bring up over wall were I fish.  I will be bring net tomarrow.

Oh Lord,
There he is.
Feels like a big one.
Please don’t let me lose him.
I’ve never caught one this big before.
I’ll try not to horse him.
And if I land him I promise to release him
And make a graphite replica...
If my wife says it’s okay.
Thank you for the Rapalas.
Amen.

My nephew went and did some catfishing last night and gave me his catch for my freezer.  Just thought I would share a pic of his catch with everyone.

Actually he asked me before he went if he caught any would I like them.  I have never ate catfish before and am open to suggestions on how to cook them.  I here from some they are good and others there not so I figured I would give them a try.

Fished a local trout pond tonight after work and managed to land one trout and a golden shiner.   I lost 4 on the way in.  They were hammering the hare's ear!!!!

Fishing isn't a matter of life or death, it's much more important than that!

I live with FEAR everyday, and sometimes she lets me go fishing!
