The Great Bow River
« on: Mar 29, 2004, 12:48 PM »
Hi all,

Here is what I did this past weekend. Spent Saturday & Sunday fishing the Bow River here in Calgary. Saturday fished from 2-5p.m. and on Sunday fished 2-6p.m. Hope you all likey. :P

The first are Saturday:

My bud Kenny with the first trout of the day.

My buddy Sparky with a trout.

another nice trout

The mighty Vancouvercanuck with his first fish for the weekend!!!!!! Notice my hat?

I think this was the first Brown of the day, and the biggest Brown for the day.

Remember people to practice catch and release

Another dark rainbow I got.

Sparky standing in the hole!, ok, no he wasn't little blurry, "fish on!"

Now the pictures from Sunday, me and my buddy Steve "rickerfrickerbricker" went out, and this was his first outing with me on the Bow and he wasn't dissapointed to say the least. Let the pictures begin:

Steve with his first Rainbow for the day, and it was a nice chunky one.

My first rainbow of the day.

And it just so happend to be our first double hitter of the year!! Nice rainbow & brown that Steve caught!

Steve showing off our double hitter!!

Steve fishing the hole, bringing one in.

And lastly, this is the snow bank on the river that we have to climb down to get into the river right now. Up top we have to be carefull, there are big holes and if you take the wrong step down you go!!

That's all for now.

Fishing isn't a matter of life or death, it's much more important than that!

I live with FEAR everyday, and sometimes she lets me go fishing!
