My office closed early today due to the long weekend - - which kinda "crept up on me" (since I had been thinking Memorial Day wasn't this coming Monday but the following one) - - so I was able to go fishing for an hour and a half along four stretches of the West Housatonic between Hungerford Street and Clapp Park in Pittsfield this afternoon.
Sunny, blue skies, 80 degrees. Stream surprisingly low for May.
I caught an 11" brown below the Hungerford Street "falls."
Nothing below the Greendale bridge.
I landed a 12" rainbow in my recent honey hole belowthe Barker Street bridge.
Nothing beneath the Clapp Park trestle.

Nice afternoon. I'd be quite pleased with a rainbow and a brown.
