Title: Redemption
Post by: lowaccord66 on Sep 05, 2016, 09:35 AM
Well after being taunted by some really nice fish that Jeff, Kevin and Bill caught on their charter...Bigredfishing and I returned to Ontario for our 2nd ever attempt at trolling Kings...lets just say we aren't going blind anymore!  Determination, and time spent was all that was needed.  90 FOW 60 feet down...fun fish to catch but I think I still prefer stripers.

Nice Jon. Determination pays. Off. Wish the lake looked like it does in your pics when we were there. She looks pretty clam.

She had her moments...later that day the North wind terminated our evening trolling program...it just got too big.  Sunday morning was a bit big with SW wind that eventually switched to North.

Might go back Saturday for a suicide run to Oswego, apparently there are more fish up there!

I hear its all about the program.   These ears I got be sponges and I'm soaking up what I can from the guys doing well.  We will have a multi-fish day eventually.   Gotta put the time in.   Gotta pay those dues.

How much boat traffic?  I have heard that Oswego on the weekends is a zoo.

Sure can, thankfully Bigred has a decent network of intel to go off of and our plans can change as quickly.as the fish run...stay tuned!  By the way Hank those rigger rods you sold me worked great, no issues getting that fish in.

JDK there was an easy couple hundred boats out in front of mexico point saturday, few less Sunday.
